Eugeniy Shaman was born on 12th of January 1982 in Moscow.

Eugeniy's father was fond of taking photographs of his family by soviet camera Zenit and involved his son into the process of film development, photo enlargement and printing. At this very time Eugeniy had fun of the process which with the help of some technical devices and red light  made usual soviet bathroom a mysterious place.
Lots of time went by before Eugeniy started to be really involved in art photography. At the age of 13 in Pioneer camp  Eugeniy attended art course - he was painting on wood and iron. Later on in 1996 electro musical events came into his life. He started to paint tattoo sketches and drafts for club clothes and drawings canvases. In 1998 Eugeniy started his personal art-label project «Andromeda Technology»: designer's drawings for club outfit, design of event in clubs and open airs. In parallel creating of art-label Eugeniy participated in project of electronic music named Silistilin. After closing of the project due to some conflicts with second participant Eugeniy got acquainted with club promoter and together they organized several events in Moscow region, where he was also designer and DJ. In  2001 he officially dropped his designer's-organizational activity. Soon he got acquainted with nude-model girl and shared her hobby of photography. After several shootings with different stage photographers Evgeniy was very fond of the process. He also learned from these photo sessions, making conclusions and compare how photographers expressed their emotions via camera. Soon buying a camera became a dream, imagination was drawing many plots. In a year he got his first digital camera.
Artworks of Eugeniy Shaman are showing not usual, specific, sometimes dramatic world with it's own laws. Sometimes he makes photographs for already thought over plots, sometimes improvises, sometimes follows both ways. Usually he explains to the model overall photo conception and then let them express it. The ways of finding actors for photographs are different, but they have an important thing in common - all of them have individual unique spiritual experience, all of them live in images - remembering, crying, feeling happy… Besides, Evgeniy believes it is very important for some people, specially for those who were touched by previous losses, photography can be something like creative sublimation, because shooting process is not only art work, but a chance for actors to create his art reality showing their grief, emotions, inside personality through author's idea, to relieve some of their sadness. This allows audience to feel the photograph.
Eugeniy named his work cycle «My.sTories», meaning "mystery" and "stories". «My.sTories» is a world of feelings, labyrinth of experiences, almost without way out for a person seeking for happiness. Some people spend lots of time in this labyrinth, some people live there forever. Going through it we can realize who we are, see our purposes, contact with world around us. This is a mystery place killing all alive and giving life to all lifeless objects in any second. Man in deep sadness turns in lifeless tree or strength of his thoughts and faith makes from nowhere close and far personajes… Stylistics of artworks is very interesting. Their esthetics, complexity, frozen scenes make them "cinematic photographs". It's difficult to act sensitive world and more difficult to open himself at one point, one scene, one second. These moments of inside life, caught by photographer, who is also a director creating an image of cinema. Dark background turns into something separate and unique esthetical. Atmosphere of photography is at the edge of physchology, mystery and enigma.
